The last remnants remain in the pictorial thinking of dreaming, but if one again and again and again pushes thinking further and further through an inner, an exact inner exercise - that is why I speak of exact clairvoyance in contrast to dark, mystical clairvoyance -, through an exact exercise, one learns to recognize the possibility of thinking that is independent of the body. It is precisely because of this that the anthroposophical researcher can point to his developed thinking with such inner certainty, because he knows - better even than the materialist - the dependence of ordinary thinking on the bodily organization, and because he experiences how, in meditation, in practice, the actual soul is lifted out of its bondage to the body. One learns to think free of the body, one learns to step out of the body with one's I-being, one gets to know the body as an object, whereas before it was thoroughly connected with the subjectivity.","text_trust":"verbatim","quote_safe":true,"title":"6. Man lernt eben leibfrei denken, man lernt, mit seiner Ich-Wesenheit herauszutreten aus dem Leibe, man lernt den Leib als ein Objekt kennen, während er früher durchaus verbunden war mit der Subjektivität.","text_trust":"verbatim","quote_safe":true,"word_count":190,"url":"https://anthroposophy.ai/v1/steiner/de/ga/75/1922-05-11/p041"}],"english":["GA 75/1922-05-11/p042"],"method":"length","confidence":"high","correspondence":"established","length_check":{"de_words":190,"en_words":202,"ratio":1.06,"partial":false},"pairing_state":"proposed","verified":false},"witness_completeness":{"ratio":1.02,"band":"comparable","note":null,"word_count":16789,"original_word_count":16506,"may_be_abridged":false},"witness_quality":{"translator":{"scope":"unit","status":"recorded","translator":"Steiner Online Library","identified_edition":"SOL2024","book_title":"The Relationship between Anthroposophy and the Natural Sciences","publisher":"Steiner Online Library","publisher_inferred":true,"match_score":1.0,"source_url":"https://www.rsarchive.org/Lectures/GA075/English/SOL2024/19220511p01.html","evidence":"lecture_page_line","publisher_note":"The publisher is inferred from the edition code in this lecture's source URL, not stated by the source page.
