But precisely in all the thoughts in which something Kantian somehow flows in, he saw the unreal, that which can never be immersed in the reality of the world. And he was actually unhappy about the fact that he, because he wanted to speak philosophically in his time, had to deal with this thinking, which was thoroughly infected by Kantianism, that he had to keep coming back to it, to deal with Kantianism. He found very sharp words, first to characterize Kantianism itself, and then also for the having to deal with Kantianism, which he found so unappealing. I would like to share with you two samples from this assessment of Kantianism, so that you can see what a person for whom philosophy is an innermost personal matter struggles with in our times.","text_trust":"verbatim","quote_safe":true,"title":"2. Ich möchte Ihnen zwei Proben aus diesem Beurteilen des Kantianismus hier mitteilen, damit Sie sehen, womit ein Mensch, für den Philosophie eine innerlichst persönliche Angelegenheit ist, in unseren Zeiten ringt.","text_trust":"verbatim","quote_safe":true,"word_count":179,"url":"https://anthroposophy.ai/v1/steiner/de/ga/76/1921-04-04/p007"}],"english":["GA 76/1921-04-04/p007"],"method":"identity","confidence":"high","correspondence":"established","length_check":{"de_words":179,"en_words":182,"ratio":1.02,"partial":false},"pairing_state":"verified","verified":true,"evidence":["length","meaning","audit"]},"witness_completeness":{"ratio":1.02,"band":"comparable","note":null,"word_count":8785,"original_word_count":8635,"may_be_abridged":false},"witness_quality":{"translator":{"scope":"unit","status":"recorded","translator":"Steiner Online Library","identified_edition":"SOL2024","book_title":"The Stimulating Effect of Anthroposophy on the Individual Sciences","publisher":"Steiner Online Library","publisher_inferred":true,"match_score":1.0,"source_url":"https://www.rsarchive.org/Lectures/GA076/English/SOL2024/19210404p01.html","evidence":"lecture_page_line","publisher_note":"The publisher is inferred from the edition code in this lecture's source URL, not stated by the source page.
