And if you don't grasp it as a problem of certainty, you can't really understand it. Kant seeks the solution by saying: the human soul is certainly not suited to distilling judgments of reality out of reason, but these judgments do come about; they are applied to external experience, as can be seen, for example, in mathematics. We do not merely look at such figures (it is drawn), but we look at them mathematically and say: there are two triangles or, drawn differently, it is a hexagon. We mix what we spin out of reason inwardly with what comes to us through external experience. We impose what we recognize inwardly a priori over what we experience a posteriori.","text_trust":"verbatim","quote_safe":true,"title":"2. Wir stülpen das innerlich a priori Erkannte über das a posteriori, von außen Erfahrene hinüber.","text_trust":"verbatim","quote_safe":true,"word_count":135,"url":"https://anthroposophy.ai/v1/steiner/de/ga/76/1921-04-04/p025"}],"english":["GA 76/1921-04-04/p025"],"method":"identity","confidence":"high","correspondence":"established","length_check":{"de_words":135,"en_words":132,"ratio":0.98,"partial":false},"pairing_state":"verified","verified":true,"evidence":["length","reader"],"reader_german":["GA 76/1921-04-04/p025"]},"witness_completeness":{"ratio":1.02,"band":"comparable","note":null,"word_count":8785,"original_word_count":8635,"may_be_abridged":false},"witness_quality":{"translator":{"scope":"unit","status":"recorded","translator":"Steiner Online Library","identified_edition":"SOL2024","book_title":"The Stimulating Effect of Anthroposophy on the Individual Sciences","publisher":"Steiner Online Library","publisher_inferred":true,"match_score":1.0,"source_url":"https://www.rsarchive.org/Lectures/GA076/English/SOL2024/19210404p01.html","evidence":"lecture_page_line","publisher_note":"The publisher is inferred from the edition code in this lecture's source URL, not stated by the source page.
