The modern spirit, which yesterday I allowed myself to call “the scientific spirit”, has, in many respects, shaken old, traditional beliefs, and although many people approach the anthroposophical line of research somewhat sceptically, there are, nevertheless, very many to-day whose souls have at least an inclination towards it. But it is correct to say that, in one respect, Anthroposophy encounters difficulties when it would enter the fields of the various sciences. That is the particular aim of this course, and it will be my task to present here, in the main, the general, more comprehensive principles and results of our research, while the other lecturers will deal with special scientific fields.","text_trust":"verbatim","quote_safe":true,"title":"2. Ihre Ergebnisse werden als etwas angesehen, das den streng wissenschaftlichen Kriterien, die man heute zu stellen sich befugt hält, nicht genüge.","text_trust":"verbatim","quote_safe":true,"word_count":374,"url":"https://anthroposophy.ai/v1/steiner/de/ga/82/1922-04-08/p003"}],"english":["GA 82/1922-04-08/p003","GA 82/1922-04-08/p004"],"method":"reader","confidence":"high","correspondence":"established","length_check":{"de_words":374,"en_words":298,"ratio":0.8,"partial":false},"pairing_state":"verified","verified":true,"evidence":["reader"],"reader_german":["GA 82/1922-04-08/p003"],"reader_part":true},"witness_completeness":{"ratio":0.92,"band":"comparable","note":null,"word_count":6598,"original_word_count":7163,"may_be_abridged":false},"witness_quality":{"translator":{"scope":"unit","status":"recorded","translator":"Steiner Online Library","identified_edition":"SOL2025","book_title":"So That Man may Become Fully Human","publisher":"Steiner Online Library","publisher_inferred":true,"match_score":1.0,"source_url":"https://www.rsarchive.org/Lectures/GA082/English/SOL2025/19220408p01.html","evidence":"lecture_page_line","publisher_note":"The publisher is inferred from the edition code in this lecture's source URL, not stated by the source page.
