I can only assure you that one who is engaged in anthroposophical research fully understands how difficult it is for a man involved in scientific work to-day to pass from the scientific attitude into Anthroposophy. Although Anthroposophy has certainly much to correct in present-day science, and, at the same time, when organic and spiritual fields are included, very much to add to the present material for research, it does not of itself come into conflict with current science. It accepts the justified results of science and deals with them in the way I have just described. The reverse, however, does not occur; at least, not yet—as one may well understand. Anthroposophy is rejected; its results are not regarded as satisfying the strictly scientific criteria that one feels entitled to impose to-day.","text_trust":"verbatim","quote_safe":true,"title":"2. Ihre Ergebnisse werden als etwas angesehen, das den streng wissenschaftlichen Kriterien, die man heute zu stellen sich befugt hält, nicht genüge.","text_trust":"verbatim","quote_safe":true,"word_count":374,"url":"https://anthroposophy.ai/v1/steiner/de/ga/82/1922-04-08/p003"}],"english":["GA 82/1922-04-08/p003","GA 82/1922-04-08/p004"],"method":"reader","confidence":"high","correspondence":"established","length_check":{"de_words":374,"en_words":298,"ratio":0.8,"partial":false},"pairing_state":"verified","verified":true,"evidence":["reader"],"reader_german":["GA 82/1922-04-08/p003"],"reader_part":true},"witness_completeness":{"ratio":0.92,"band":"comparable","note":null,"word_count":6598,"original_word_count":7163,"may_be_abridged":false},"witness_quality":{"translator":{"scope":"unit","status":"recorded","translator":"Steiner Online Library","identified_edition":"SOL2025","book_title":"So That Man may Become Fully Human","publisher":"Steiner Online Library","publisher_inferred":true,"match_score":1.0,"source_url":"https://www.rsarchive.org/Lectures/GA082/English/SOL2025/19220408p01.html","evidence":"lecture_page_line","publisher_note":"The publisher is inferred from the edition code in this lecture's source URL, not stated by the source page.
