To whom the eye is opened for the astral world, he can speak only in such pictures. The seer knows how little the words of our daily life are sufficient to describe what he sees in the astral world. Our language can only be a very meager means of expression to put into words what is to be told about. That is why I will hardly be able to give you anything else today than pictures, as a pictorial idea of the beings which become known to the one whose vision is opened. These are beings that populate our space, even if we do not perceive them in physical life. The astral world is full of colors, which the seer sees like an external reality. He who directs his gaze only to the outer appearance of man and sees only in it the whole essence of man, is like one who would say that a man has disappeared when he has entered the door of a house and is now no longer visible. We know that he still exists and is only covered by the wall of the house. And just as the wall of the house covers him, so the physicality of man covers what we are now talking about; it covers it because it is invisible to the ordinary senses. So also beings that have no physical corporeality are present in the astral space, although they do not become visible to the physical eye. And you all are present in the astral space as well as in the physical space.","text_trust":"verbatim","quote_safe":true,"title":"4.
