Dhyanic spirits had to think for the pitris on the Moon, so that there were none on the Moon with independent thinking, nor any who were able to act independently. But the dhyanic spirits found individual pitris who were more willing instruments than others, as we now also see it in animals, for instance. These are guided by other thinking spirits, always one spirit per genus. Sophisticated dressage is nothing to surprise us, therefore. The thinking originates in another spiritual centre in that case.","text_trust":"verbatim","quote_safe":true,"title":"Planetary Evolution VII","site_heading":null,"date":"1904-11-01","location":null,"word_count":123,"url":"https://anthroposophy.ai/v1/steiner/en/ga/89/1904-11-01/p019","alignment_confidence":"high","alignment_reason":"beads:length","two_voice_volume":false,"translation_credit":{"scope":"unit","status":"established","translator":"Anna Meuss","identified_edition":"CMP2001","book_title":"Awareness—Life—Form","publisher":null,"publisher_inferred":false,"match_score":1.0,"source_url":"https://www.rsarchive.org/Lectures/GA089/English/CMP2001/19041101p01.html","evidence":"lecture_page_line"},"edition_coverage":{"de":["original"],"en":["English"]},"available_versions":[{"lang":"de","edition":"original","edition_basis":null,"is_original":true,"is_default_edition":true,"url":"https://anthroposophy.ai/v1/steiner/de/ga/89/1904-11-01/p019"},{"lang":"en","edition":"English","edition_basis":null,"is_original":false,"is_default_edition":true,"url":"https://anthroposophy.ai/v1/steiner/en/ga/89/1904-11-01/p019","paragraph_aligned":true}],"record":{"record_type":"listeners_notes","scope":"unit","note":"This text is a newspaper's or a listener's report of the lecture, not a transcript.
