This planetary chain emerged from another planetary chain. Next time I will show how our earth developed out of another planet, just as we had the lunar epoch in the past. What remained of that epoch is contained in our present moon. Our present moon is not the earth's predecessor, it is only a condensed physical piece of it, a slag, so to speak. When we say that the beings of the earth developed from the moon, it is not entirely accurate, but within the limits of what I have said, it is quite correct. We will get to know a somewhat similar seven-part chain during this lunar epoch, so that we can say: Before the earth came into its sevenfold structure, it developed in the sevenfold structure of the lunar epoch. This sevenfold lunar epoch is characterized by the fact that people at that time did not yet have the bright consciousness of the mind that people have today, but rather a consciousness similar to a dream trance. This is the echo of the earlier dull consciousness.","text_trust":"verbatim","quote_safe":true,"title":"IV. Das ist der Nachklang des früheren dumpfen Bewusstseins.","text_trust":"verbatim","quote_safe":true,"word_count":187,"url":"https://anthroposophy.ai/v1/steiner/de/ga/90b/1905-01-30/p029"}],"english":["GA 90b/1905-01-30/p029"],"method":"identity","confidence":"high","correspondence":"established","length_check":{"de_words":187,"en_words":195,"ratio":1.04,"partial":false},"pairing_state":"verified","verified":true,"evidence":["length","meaning","audit"]},"witness_completeness":{"ratio":1.02,"band":"comparable","note":null,"word_count":4295,"original_word_count":4215,"may_be_abridged":false},"witness_quality":{"translator":{"scope":"unit","status":"recorded","translator":"Steiner Online Library","identified_edition":"SOL2024","book_title":"Self-Knowledge and God-Knowledge II","publisher":"Steiner Online Library","publisher_inferred":true,"match_score":1.0,"source_url":"https://www.rsarchive.org/Lectures/GA090b/English/SOL2024/19050130p01.html","evidence":"lecture_page_line","publisher_note":"The publisher is inferred from the edition code in this lecture's source URL, not stated by the source page.
