Chapters 1 to 12 are experiences in the astral world, chapter 13 and those that follow experiences at the devachanic level. This is highly significant and characteristic of the whole of it. John described experiences on the astral level because he took the view that it is only possible to understand what Christ Jesus accomplished on this earth if one considers it in the light of the spirit. The things the master did and said could only be understood if one put oneself in a higher state of consciousness. Inner development can enable human beings to gain true vision in the astral world. This is only achieved by doing specific meditations. The individual must close himself off from the outside world. He must let eternal truths arise in his soul. A new world then opens up all around him.","text_trust":"verbatim","quote_safe":true,"title":"III. Eine neue Welt geht dann rings um ihn auf.","text_trust":"verbatim","quote_safe":true,"word_count":146,"url":"https://anthroposophy.ai/v1/steiner/de/ga/97/1906-02-12/p006"}],"english":["GA 97/1906-02-12/p006"],"method":"length","confidence":"high","correspondence":"established","length_check":{"de_words":146,"en_words":157,"ratio":1.08,"partial":false},"pairing_state":"proposed","verified":false},"witness_completeness":{"ratio":1.14,"band":"comparable","note":null,"word_count":2352,"original_word_count":2056,"may_be_abridged":false},"witness_quality":{"translator":{"scope":"unit","status":"recorded","translator":"Anna Meuss","identified_edition":"CMP2000","book_title":"The Christian Mystery","publisher":null,"publisher_inferred":false,"match_score":1.0,"source_url":"https://www.rsarchive.org/Lectures/GA097/English/CMP2000/19060212p02.html","evidence":"lecture_page_line"},"entity_parity":{"status":"ok","checked_against":["GA 97/1906-02-12/p006"],"missing_from_translation":[],"present_only_in_translation":[],"bead_confidence":"high","note":"Every load-bearing name in the German counterpart appears in this English passage.
