If we first consider language, what emerges in language is actually also a kind of gesture, only the gesture is located in the air stream. We shape the air stream quite differently when we pronounce one vowel or another. And depending on the sound, the word, and the sentence structure, the air gesture we produce when speaking spreads, conveying one or the other of the linguistic contents. However, in language, the human element of will penetrates the gesture on one side, and the human element of thought on the other. The human element of thought is what, in a sense, forms the sound gesture that emanates radially from the human being, which is not an articulated sound but rather a sound gesture, into a word, so that a mental element and an element of will interact in language.
